01 Is ShadowVeil a VPN or a proxy?
ShadowVeil is a stealth proxy with VPN-style protection. It routes your connection through a remote node, masks your IP, and encrypts and obfuscates your traffic — with a focus on being hard to detect and block on restrictive networks.
02 Does ShadowVeil keep logs of what I do?
No. We do not collect, log, or store your browsing history, DNS queries, or your activity within websites and apps. The proxy exists to move and hide your traffic — not to record it.
03 Can it get past blocked networks and content?
That's what it's built for. By disguising your traffic and routing it through nodes in other regions, ShadowVeil helps you slip past network restrictions and reach content that's blocked where you are. Please use it lawfully and in line with the terms of the services you access.
04 What does "obfuscation" actually mean?
It means your connection is shaped to look like ordinary encrypted web traffic. Instead of standing out as "a proxy," it blends into normal activity, which makes it much harder for filters to single out and block.
05 Will the proxy slow me down?
Routing through any proxy adds some distance, but ShadowVeil is lightweight with efficient routing. Choosing the nearest node — or Speed mode — keeps things fast for streaming and downloads.
06 What information does the app collect?
Only the minimum needed to run: basic device info (model, OS version, language), diagnostics like crash logs and performance data, and temporary connection data (such as an IP) to establish the proxy. Details are in our Privacy Policy.
07 Is my data sold to anyone?
No. We do not sell your personal data. We may use trusted third-party services (such as analytics or crash reporting) that process limited information under their own privacy policies, purely to keep the app stable.
08 Which devices are supported?
